Moving in on your own?
Our roommate matching program is designed to help you find a great fit. During the application process, you’ll complete a roommate questionnaire that helps us learn more about your lifestyle, habits, study preferences, and living expectations. We use this information to thoughtfully match you with students who have similar lifestyles and preferences, helping create a comfortable and enjoyable shared living experience from day one.
When can I apply to lease a suite?

How close are we to campus?
The Els is only a 5 minute walk from the University of Toronto Scarborough
campus.
What is an individual lease?
At The Els, each resident signs their own lease for a private bedroom within a shared suite. This means you’re only responsible for your own rent and lease obligations—not those of your roommates. Shared spaces, including the kitchen, living room, and other common areas, are enjoyed by everyone in the suite.
What are rent installments and where do I make payments?
A rental installment is a payment made as part of a series of payments. To
simplify the billing process, the entire sum of the lease contract is divided
into equal installments. Each installment is due on the 1st of each month.
